For those of you who maybe don't know, the bagpipes originated in Egypt. Don't ask me how they made it to Scotland and Ireland ( maybe with the Romans?). In any case here we go...
Scottish Pipes are played using your breath to fill the bag. Irish Pipes use a bellows under your arm instead. I saw the Furries in concert some years back and it was said, at the time, that you could count the all of the good players of the Irish Pipes in the world on one hand...
